Germany, Heer. An Engraved Commemorative Dress Bayonet, by Robert Klaas Buy Now surrounded by a gilt oak(Heer Bajonett). An extremely well preserved Heer commemorative dress bayonet, measuring 39. 5 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 25 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade which retains factory original sharpening to the tip and lower edge. A wide fuller runs the majority of the length of the top edge of each side. The obverse bears an acid etched inscription of ZUR ERINNERUNG AN MEINE DIENSTZEIT (IN MEMORY OF MY
