Bokov uses one half of a Dean & Deluca, the iconic SoHo cafe, bag to paint his subjects, two women chatting and eating a meal together. The colors of this piece are especially beautiful, a rainbow border and warm yellow glow. Bokov was known for frequenting cafes in NYC's SoHo neighborhood to paint and sketch strangers. His scenes of daily life are intimate and
